Amazing Grace Farm Rescue

It seems Jackie has been rescuing and helping animals most of her life.  “Even as a little girl I remember other neighborhood children bringing little hurt birds and animals to me to try and fix them.”

Amazing Grace Farm, a “No-Kill” Farm, has become a safe haven and refuge for many animals that have been abused, neglected, are unwanted or in danger of being destroyed because of overpopulation in local pounds and shelters.

Many of the rescues are sick or in need of immediate medical care and, to help keep expenses down, Jackie does much of the vetting herself. All expenses including: critical vet care, food, meds, cat litter, etc. are paid out of pocket by us.  All rescues are spayed/neutered, receive their vaccinations, and other care from sale proceeds of Shepherdess Products, sheep wool, yarn and other items.

Jackie sells her items online on this website as well as at: etsy.com (Shepherdess), Local Roots Market (Ashland, OH), Berlin Craft Mall (Berlin, OH) and at 2 wool shows - The Great Lakes Fiber Show in Wooster, OH and A Wool Gathering in Yellow Springs, OH.

The animals pictured on this page are just a few of the many, many animals that have been rescued and lived, or currently live, at Amazing Grace Farm.  Each precious animal is named, cared for and loved very much.

Many of our animals are available for adoption. They can be found listed on Facebook. Just search for the name, Jackie Deems.

Donations of cat & dog food, cat litter, or monetary donations are always appreciated.

A recent report from the Humane Society states that 4 million dogs and cats are euthanized each year in US pounds and shelters, 1 every 8 seconds. A majority of these precious animals would have made wonderful family pets and companions.

Spaying, neutering and not breeding your intact animals are the only ways to stop this travesty.  Many communities have low cost spay/neuter programs.  Please make it a priority to neuter your pets so they and their offspring don’t face euthanization.  And, if you want to adopt a pet please do so from one of the many shelters that are overcrowded. The fate of these innocent animals is in our hands!

Bless The Beasts And The Children

Bless the beasts and the children

For in this world they have no voice

They have no choice.

Bless the beasts and the children

For the world will never be

The world they see.

Light their way

When the darkness surrounds them

Give them love

Let it shine all around them.

Bless the beasts and the children

Give them shelter from a storm

Keep them safe, keep them warm.
